Adjusting the Exposure (Scan Density) Density is the degree of differences between light and dark areas of an image. The setting will make an image darker, whereas the setting will make it lighter. <DARK> setting will make an image darker, whereas the <LIGHT> setting will make
it lighter.
Follow the procedure of "Sending Methods" (see p. 4-1), and adjust the density as
follows when required to do so:
