GPS Mode When the device is in GPS mode, a signal icon designated by four vertical bars of increasing Signal height will appear in the upper left hand corner of the LCD screen. While a signal is being acquired, the icon will flash red. Once a signal Latitude Longitude is acquired the icon will stop flashing and Altitude Fig. 15 turn blue.
