Chapter 6 Logical Object Dialog Boxes Figure 6-55 BGP Enable Dialog Box C6576M BGP Dialog Box BGP Network Path Attribute Table Area The BGP Network Path Attribute Table area contains information about paths to destination networks received from all BGP peers. This area contains the following columns: • Peer IP Address-IP address of the peer from which the path information was learned. This address is 0.0.0.0 if this information was learned internally. • IP Address-IP address of the destination network. • Network Mask-Length of the destination network IP adddress prefix in the Network Layer Reachability Information field. • Path Origin-Ultimate origin of the path information. This has the following values: - igp-Interior Gateway Protocol advertised with a network router configuration command. - egp-Exterior Gateway Protocol. - incomplete-Unknown origin. Usually, a router that is distributed into BGP from an IGP. • Border Router IP Address-Address of the border router that should be used for the destination network. • Multiple Exit Point Discriminate Metric-Metric used to discriminate between multiple exit points to an adjacent autonomous system.
