Guide to Supported Hardware for Cisco 7600 Series Routers with Cisco IOS Release 12.2SR Supported Hardware Software Version SFPs Supported DWDM-SFP-5979= DWDM-SFP-6061= DWDM-SFP-3346= DWDM-SFP-3739= DWDM-SFP-4134= DWDM-SFP-4532= DWDM-SFP-4931= DWDM-SFP-5332= DWDM-SFP-5736= DWDM-SFP-6141= Note • Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SRE adds X2-DWDM and X2-10GB-LRM, X2 10GB-ZR support. • There are no memory-only upgrade options for the RSP720-3CXL-10GE. • The RSP720-3CXL-10GE does not support the following chassis and modules: - Unsupported chassis: Cisco 7603 and 7606. Note Cisco 7613 rev 05 backplane support RSP720-3C-10GE and RSP720-3CXL-10GE from 12.2(33)SRE onwards. - Unsupported modules: Services modules (excluding the Network Analysis Module) , Optical Service Modules (OSMs), FlexWAN module. • The RSP720-3CXL-10GE supports the following 10-Gigabit Ethernet optics: X2-10GB-LR, X2-10GB-ER, X2-10GB-SR, X2-10GB-CX4, and X2-10GB-LX4. • The RSP720-3CXL-10GE supports the following Gigabit Ethernet optics: GLC-SX-MM, GLC-LH-SM, GLC-ZX-SM, GLC-T, SFP-GE-S, SFP-GE-L, SSFP-GE-T, GLC-BX-D, and GLC-BX-U. In Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SRE, the RSP720-10GE adds support for the following features: • High-availability features such as NonStop Forwarding with Stateful Switchover (NSF/SSO) and In-Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) are not supported. • The uplinks on the standby RSP720-10GE are active. • Broadband Aggregation features are supported. In Cisco IOS Release 12.2SRC, the RSP720-3CXL-10GE does not support the following features, which are supported on the RSP720: • High-availability features such as NonStop Forwarding with Stateful Switchover (NSF/SSO) and In-Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) are not supported. Only Route Processor Redundancy (RPR) mode is supported. • The uplinks on the standby RSP720-10GE are not active. This restriction exists because the uplink ports must perform lookups on the active RSP, which is not possible in RPR mode. • Broadband aggregation features are not supported.
