11 The Array Configuration Utility gives you the ability to do on-line capacity expansion which allows you to change an existing data storage configuration even in a fault tolerant configuration without requiring a data tape backup and restore cycle. If using hot-pluggable drives, storage expansion can be performed online, without shutting down the server.
