The shiftleveris locatedon the dash panel.Placethe shift leverinto anyof eight positionsto controlthe directionof travel and ground speed. Forward Yoursnowthrowerhas six forward(F) speeds.Positionone (1)is the slowestand positionsix (6) is the fastest. Reverse Yoursnowthrowerhastwo reverse(R) speeds.One (1) is the slower and two (2) is the faster. CHOKE CONTROL The chokecontrolis foundon the rearof the engineand is activatedby turningthe rotary choke knobto the CHOKEposition.Activating the chokecontrolclosesthe choke plateon the carburetorand aids in startingthe engine.
