Tropical Sunshine Fruit Smoothie Refreshing and tangy, this smoothie is a great way to start the day. Makes 4 cups 1 large banana, peeled, cut into ½-inch pieces 1 cup orange juice (use calcium-enriched for greater nutritional value) 2 cups mango chunks (¾-inch) 1½ cups frozen pineapple chunks (1-inch pieces) Place ingredients in blender jar in order listed. Cover and blend on Food Processor for 20 to 30 seconds until completely smooth and blended. Serve immediately. Garnish with sliced strawberries, sliced kiwi, fresh berries on a skewer, orange wedge and/or coconut. Makes 5 cups 1 large banana, peeled and cut into ½-inch slices 2 cups fresh strawberry halves 1 cup fresh pomegranate juice* 1 cup fat free vanilla yogurt 2 cups frozen raspberries or blueberries (or 1 cup each) sugar or honey to taste if needed (will depend on tartness of fruit and personal taste) Place ingredients in blender jar in order listed. Cover and blend on Food Processor for 20 to 30 seconds until completely smooth and blended. Serve immediately.
