Gluten-Free Waffles These are light and crispy and extra decadent when served with fresh fruit. Makes 8 waffles 2 cups rice flour ¼ cup tapioca starch (flour) 2 tablespoons milk powder 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 3⁄4 teaspoons kosher salt 2 cups buttermilk 1 large egg, lightly beaten 1½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1⁄3 cup vegetable oil 1.
