Specify the type of controlled packets, Options are Broadcast Only, Multicast & Broadcast, and Multicast & Broadcast & Unknown Unicast. If Storm Control is enabled, the Switch will start dropping packets of the specified type when exceeding this threshold. The threshold ranges from 8 to 1,000,000 kbps. Security > Port Security Port Security improves network security by restricting access on a specific port only to users with a specific MAC address. Ports can be locked to prevent users from modifying the MAC address forwarding table. Locking ports also prevents additional MAC addresses from being learned. Storm Control Status
