Section 3 - Configuration Advanced Network This window allows you to change the LAN settings. Please be aware that any changes to the factory default settings may affect the behavior of your network. Enable UPnP: To use the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP™) feature tick this checkbox. UPNP provides compatibility with networking equipment, software and peripherals. Enable WAN Unchecking the box will not allow the DIR-605 Ping Respond: to respond to Pings. Blocking the Ping may provide some extra security from hackers. Tick this checkbox to allow the WAN port to be "Pinged". WAN Port You may set the port speed of the WAN port Speed: to 10Mbps, 100Mbps, or 10/100Mbps Auto.
