DNS-G120 User's Manual Home > LAN Using the Configuration Utility DHCP Client/ Select either DHCP Client (default) if you have a DHCP server or Static IP: router on your network, or Static IP if you want to assign the network settings manually. IP Address: Enter the IP address of the DNS-G120 here, when Static IP is selected. Subnet Mask: Enter the subnet mask here, when Static IP is selected. Gateway Address: Enter the gateway address here, when Static IP is selected. This is normally the LAN address of your router. DNS1/DNS2: DNS (Domain Name System) is an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Enter a DNS address here. Select either
DHCP Client
(default) if you have a DHCP server or
router on your network, or
Static IP
if you want to assign the network
settings manually.
Enter the IP address of the DNS-G120 here, when Static IP is
selected.
Enter the subnet mask here, when Static IP is selected.
Enter the gateway address here, when Static IP is selected. This is
normally the LAN address of your router.
