Technical Specifications Enclosure Specifications Technical enclosure specifications include power requirements, size, drive, interface, and standards information. Ac Power Requirements The input current, power (VA), and dissipation per DAE2 are based on the requirements that a maximum DAE2 configuration places on the power supplies and cooling system to provide internal regulated power. Typical values will be less, depending on the number and manufacturer of disk modules. These values represent either ◆ the values for a single power supply line cord, or ◆ the sum of values shared by the line cords of two power supplies in the same DAE2, with the division between the line cords and supplies at the current sharing ratio (approximately 50% each). A failure of one of the two power supplies in the DAE2 results in the remaining supply and cord supporting the full load. You must use a rackmount cabinet with ac power distribution, and have main branch ac distribution that can handle these values for each disk enclosure in the cabinet. Requirements
The input current, power (VA), and dissipation per DAE2 are based
on the requirements that a maximum DAE2 configuration places on
the power supplies and cooling system to provide internal regulated

A failure of one of the two power supplies in the DAE2 results in the
remaining supply and cord supporting the full load. You must use a
