See the technical specifications for the array in the Dell EqualLogic PS6610 Series Array Installation and Setup Guide. • External airflow is obstructed by cables or other items in the rack. If the problem is not resolved, contact your PS Series support provider for a replacement. Control Module Failures 1. Check the control module status LEDs. See Interpreting Control Module LEDs on page 16 for more information. 2. Reseat the control module and wait for 30 seconds. See Replace a Control Module on page 21. If a control module fails, contact your PS Series support provider for a replacement. Faulty Hard Drives Check the hard drive indicators before removing the faulty drive from the array. Confirm that the drive in question is also identified as being faulty in the GUI, console log, or monitoring log. • Remove the drive from the array and replace the drive as soon as possible. See Remove Disk Drives on page 14. If replacing the drive does not resolve the issue, contact your PS Series support provider. 41
