Repeats the key sequence to recall successively older commands. Returns to more recent commands in the history buffer after recalling commands with the up-arrow key. Repeating the key sequence recalls more recent commands in succession. Specifying Physical Ports When configuring port parameters or viewing information about a specific port from the CLI, you must identify the port by its type and unit, slot, and port number. For example, on a PowerConnect M8024-k switch, the integrated, internal port 4 is identified as TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/4 or Te1/0/4 from the CLI. The supported port type and unit, slot, and port numbers depend on the switch model. Port Type Table 5-4 describes how to enter the port type in the CLI. The port type is not case sensitive.
