Command Purpose interface vlan vlan-id Enter interface configuration mode for the specified VLAN routing interface. You can also specify a range of VLAN routing interfaces with the interface range vlan command, for example, interface range vlan 10,20,30 configures VLAN interfaces 10, 20, and 30. NOTE: All VLANs must be configured as VLAN routing interfaces. ip helper-address Configure the relay of certain UDP broadcast packets {server-address | received on the VLAN routing interface(s). This command discard} [dest-udp-port takes precedence over an ip helper-address command given | dhcp | domain | in global configuration mode. isakmp | mobile-ip | Specify the one of the protocols defined in the command nameserver | netbios- or the UDP port number. dgm | netbios-ns | ntp | pim-auto-rp | rip | • server-address - The IPv4 unicast or directed broadcast tacacs | tftp | time] address to which relayed UDP broadcast packets are sent. The server address cannot be an IP address configured on any interface of the local router. • dest-udp-port - A destination UDP port number from 0 to 65535. exit Exit to Global Config mode. exit Exit to Privileged EXEC mode. show ip helper-address View IP helper (L3 relay) settings for all interfaces or for [vlan vlan-id] the specified VLAN routing interface. show ip helper statistics View the number of DHCP and other UDP packets processed and relayed by the UDP relay agent.
