Back to Contents Page Connecting the Access Point to the network NOTE:It is recommended that you follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide on connecting the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point to the network. The following are the relevant steps on connecting the access point to your network. 1. Find the optimum location for your Access Point. The Access Point should be located at the center of your wireless network, ideally with line of sight to all your mobile stations. 2. Fix the orientation of the antennas such that both antennas are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other 3. Connect the included Ethernet cable to the Access Point and the other end of the Ethernet cable to a switch or hub. 4. Connect the power adapter to the Access Point's power port. Connecting the Access Point to the network
NOTE:
It is recommended that you follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide on connecting the Dell Wireless 4350 Small
Network Access Point to the network.
The following are the relevant steps on connecting the access point to your network.
1.
Find the optimum location for your Access Point. The Access Point should be located at the center of your wireless network,
ideally with line of sight to all your mobile stations.
2.
Fix the orientation of the antennas such that both antennas are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other
3.
Connect the included Ethernet cable to the Access Point and the other end of the Ethernet cable to a switch or hub.
4.
Connect the power adapter to the Access Point’s power port.
