6. Check the Obtain an IP address automatically option. If you are using a manually assigned IP address for the client, the IP address for the client must be on the same subnet as the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point: 1. Follow the instructions above to access the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window. 2. Ensure the option Use the following IP address is selected. 3. Ensure the value in the Subnet mask field matches that for the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point. If you are using a DHCP server to provide an IP address to the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point, you must determine the address that was provided by the DHCP server. For assistance on getting the IP address from the DHCP server, see the documentation for your server or contact your network administrator. Make sure that the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point is properly installed and configured: 1. Make sure that the Power light on the front of the Access Point is lit. 2. Make sure that the LAN light on the front of the Access Point is lit. The LAN LED indicates a network connection. 3. Check the computer's network settings. For example, if the Access Point's IP address is the default, 192.168.2.2, the computer's IP address should be in the range from 192.168.2.3 to 192.168.2.254; thus, it should appear as 192.168.2.xxx. Check the
