Steps 1. Peel the tape that secures the fan cable to the system board. 2. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board. 3. Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the fan to the system board and palm-rest and keyboard assembly. CAUTION: Do not hold the fan assembly at the center, as it may damage the center bearing. 4. Slide the fan out of the heat sink and then lift it from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. Steps
1.
Peel the tape that secures the fan cable to the system board.
2.
Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
3.
Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the fan to the system board and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Do not hold the fan assembly at the center, as it may damage the center bearing.

Slide the fan out of the heat sink and then lift it from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
