Easy Setup and Operation • This section contains the basic steps necessary to configure the AVR-5805CI according to your listening room environment and the source equipment and loudspeakers you are using. • For optimum performance, we recommend using the Auto Setup function. • If you wish, you can set the various settings manually without using Auto Setup ( page 140 ~ 148). Easy to setup flow Placing the speakers. Connecting the speakers. Connect the DVD player to the AVR-5805CI. Connect the AVR-5805CI's monitor output terminal to the TV's video input terminal ( page 19). Auto setup flow Perform the auto setup procedure, following the instructions displayed on the TV's screen. Connecting a microphone ( page 21). By default, the speaker system setting is set to 9.1 channels. Please set under "Extra Setup", only when you want to change this arrangement.
