The AUDIO menu opens. • Stereo-Produces dynamic stereo sound for sporting events and concerts. • SAP-Selects a second language, weather, or added commentary, if available. • Audio Language-(digital channels only) Selects an alternate audio language, if available. • Reset Audio Settings- Resets all audio settings to factory defaults. When you select this option, a confirmation box opens. Press or to select Yes or No, then press ENTER to confirm. 4 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or press EXIT to close the menu. Playing TV audio only You can turn off the picture on your TV and listen to only the program audio. To play only the TV audio: 1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens. With the Equalizer Off you can select: • Bass-Adjusts the low sounds. • Treble-Adjusts the high sounds. With the Equalizer On you can select: • Equalizer Mode-Selects the sound mode. You can select: • Standard (for normal programs) • Theater (for movies) • Music (for musical programs) • News (for news programs) • Custom (for a customized sound mode). Note: You can also press AUDIO one or more times to select the Equalizer mode. • Equalizer Setting-Selects the equalizer frequency. You can select 120 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz, 5 kHz, or 10 kHz. Press or to switch between columns, then press or to adjust the setting. Press MENU to confirm. You can adjust the following options regardless of the Equalizer settings: • Balance-Adjusts the balance between the left and right audio channels. • Auto Volume-Automatically adjust the volume to be consistent across programs and channels. • Digital Audio/SPDIF-(digital channels only) Selects the digital audio output mode. You can select RAW (outputs audio in its original format) or PCM (outputs the audio in PCM mode, if available). • MTS/SAP-Selects the sound mode (analog channels only). • Mono-Produces a clearer sound if stereo sound is difficult to hear. 2 Press or to highlight CHANNELS. The CHANNELS menu opens. 3 Press or to highlight Audio Only, then press or to select On. 4 Press EXIT to close the menu. After pressing EXIT, the picture will turn off in approximately three seconds. Notes: Audio Only works only when the input source is TV and your TV is receiving a broadcast signal. To exit Audio Only mode, press any button. When you exit Audio Only mode, the Audio Only option is automatically reset to Off.

To adjust the sound:

—Selects the sound mode. You can select:

Music
