I Controlling Your Projector from a Computer If you want to be able to control the projector's settings from your computer (for example, if the projector is ceiling-mounted), you can install the EMP Link V program on the Projector Software CD-ROM. In addition to making the projector's features accessible from your computer, this program lets you customize the highlighting tools (special effects buttons on the remote control). For details, see page 78. note The EMP Link program is optional; you do not need to install it to use the projector. Using Your Documentation To connect the projector to your laptop and get your presentation running fast, see the Quick Setup sheet that came in your Owner's Kit. If you want to be able to control the projector’s settings from
your computer (for example, if the projector is ceiling-mounted),
you can install the EMP Link V program on the Projector
Software CD-ROM. In addition to making the projector’s
features accessible from your computer, this program lets you
customize the highlighting tools (special effects buttons on the
