Fluke 190 Series II Users Manual Displaying an Unknown Signal with Connect-and-View™ The Connect-and-View feature lets the test tool display complex, unknown signals automatically. This function optimizes the position, range, time base, and triggering and assures a stable display of virtually any waveform. If the signal changes, the setup is automatically adjusted to maintain the best display result. This feature is especially useful for quickly checking several signals. To enable the Connect-and-View feature when the test tool is in MANUAL mode, do the following: 1 MANUAL Perform an Auto Set. AUTO appears at AUTO the top right of the screen, the key illumination is off. The bottom line shows the range, the time base, and the trigger information. - The waveform identifier (A) is visible on the right side of the screen, as shown in Figure 7. The input A zero icon at the left side of the screen identifies the ground level of the waveform. 2 MANUAL Press a second time to select the AUTO manual range again. MANUAL appears at the top right of the screen, the key illumination is on. Figure 7. Displaying an Unknown Signal with
Connect-and-View™
The Connect-and-View feature lets the test tool display
complex, unknown signals automatically. This function
optimizes the position, range, time base, and triggering
and assures a stable display of virtually any waveform. If
the signal changes, the setup is automatically adjusted to
maintain the best display result. This feature is especially
useful for quickly checking several signals.
To enable the Connect-and-View feature when the test
tool is in MANUAL mode, do the following:
