Configuring the Wireless LAN The WLAN device can be configured to establish wireless network connectivity using the software that is built into Windows for most industry standard security solutions is contained in this software. Pre-defined parameters will be required for this procedure. Please consult with your network administrator for these parameters: Configuring the WLAN using Windows 7 Procedure 1 Click the [Start] button, then select Control Panel. 2 Click the Network and Sharing Center icon. 3 Click on Setup a new connection or network. 4 Choose a connection option, then click [Next]. 5 Follow the instructions that appear for your selected option. 6 Enter any required information. It may be necessary to consult with your network administrator for some of the information. 7 In the event you require assistance, go to [Start] -> Help and Support, and type in a few keywords describing the problem, then click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the field. Click on the main topic in which you are interested.
