Display Messages The following indicators show the status of a message or of the unit. BLOCKED CALL/ BLOCKED NAME/ BLOCKED NUMBER The person is calling from a name or number that has been blocked from transmission. BUSY Indicates the system is busy and not able to connect to the system. CALL WAITING Indicates a call is waiting on the line. DELETE ALL? Prompt asking if you want to erase all Caller ID records. DELETE CALL ID? Prompt asking if you want to erase the current Caller ID record that is shown on the display. DELETED Prompt confirming the Caller ID record is erased. ENTER NAME Prompt telling you to enter the name in one of the 50 memory locations. ENTER NUMBR Prompt telling you to enter a telephone number in one of the 50 memory locations. INCOMPLETE DATA Caller information has been interrupted during transmission or the phone line is excessively noisy. LOW BATTERY Indicates the battery pack needs charged. NO CALLS Indicates no calls have been received. NO DATA No Caller ID information was received. PAGING The page button on the base has been pressed. PRESS TALK KEY Indicates the CID number is a Direct Dial Number (DDN) and cannot be formatted. UNKNOWN CALL NAME/NUMBER The incoming call is from an area not serviced by Caller ID or the information was not sent. Handset Sound Signals Signal A long warbling tone (with ringer on) Three short beeps One short beep (every 7 seconds) Meaning Signals an incoming call Page signal Low battery warning 48
