2.4 Status Indicators The status indicator lights correspond to specific operating modes. These modes are: Power on/ Suspend status, Battery/AC Adapter status, hard drive activity (HDD), Num Lock, Caps Lock, and wireless transmission activity. LED status indicators These status indicatorsare used to show specific information on the E1425 such as if the Wireless LAN or Bluetooth is On or Off and if the Battery Pack is charging or not. From Left to Right they are: E1425 SERIES USER'S MANUAL NO. Symbol Item Function English This LED shows whether the Notebook is power on or in sleep mode. A continuous 1 Power LED blue LED indicates power, while a blinking blue LED indicates suspend/sleep mode. If this LED is off then the notebook is not powered at all. This LED indicates whether the builtin Wireless LAN Module is active and 11 Wireless connected. If the LED is on, there is 2 Connection connection and the adaptor is switched LED on. No LED means that there is no connection and the adaptor is switched off. This LED is used to show if the battery pack of the notebook is charging or not, or 3 Battery Status LED if there is a battery fault. It will illuminate if the battery is charging and switch off when charged, but it will flash on and off if there is no battery present or the battery is no longer working This LED indicates Hard Disk Activity and Hard Disk will show if the HDD is in use or idle. It will 4 Activity flash on and off rapidly when the drive is Status LED active and remain off when the hard drive is not being used.

2.4 Status Indicators
The status indicator lights correspond to specific operating modes.
These modes are: Power on/ Suspend status, Battery/AC Adapter
status, hard drive activity (HDD), Num Lock, Caps Lock, and
wireless transmission activity.
LED status indicators
These status indicatorsare used to show specific information on the

Power LED
This LED shows whether the Notebook is
power on or in sleep mode. A continuous
blue LED indicates power, while a blinking
blue LED indicates suspend/sleep mode.
If this LED is off then the notebook is not

Connection
LED
This LED indicates whether the built-
in Wireless LAN Module is active and
connected. If the LED is on, there is
connection and the adaptor is switched
on. No LED means that there is no
connection and the adaptor is switched
off.

Battery
Status LED
This LED is used to show if the battery
pack of the notebook is charging or not, or
if there is a battery fault. It will illuminate
if the battery is charging and switch off
when charged, but it will flash on and off if
there is no battery present or the battery
is no longer working

Hard Disk
Activity
Status LED
This LED indicates Hard Disk Activity and
will show if the HDD is in use or idle. It will
flash on and off rapidly when the drive is
active and remain off when the hard drive
is not being used.
