31 Phone calls Phone calls Making a call You can either dial a number directly or browse through your contact list and call logs to make a call. 1. Open the Phone app. 2. Do any of the following: § Enter the phone number, and then tap . § Search for a call log in the Call history , and then tap contact you want to call. § In the People tab, tap the contact you want to call. 3. To hang up, tap . beside the Returning a missed call You'll see the missed call notification when you miss a call. § Slide the Notifications panel open to check who the caller is. To return the call, tap Call back. § Open the Phone app, and then tap the Call History tab . Tap contact to call. beside the Making an emergency call In some regions, you can make emergency calls from HTC First even if you don't have a SIM card installed or your SIM card has been blocked. If you don't have a network signal, you won't be able to make an emergency call. 1. Open the Phone app. 2. Dial the emergency number for your locale, and then tap . If you've enabled but forgotten your lock password or lock pattern, you can still make emergency calls by tapping Emergency call on the screen.
