9-Installation GB Followingconnections are possible: 9.5.1 Drain hoseto sink Hang the drain hose with the U-support over the edge of a sink with adequate size (Fig. 9.5-1). ping. 9.5.2 Drain hoseto waste water connection The internal diameter of the stand pipe with v●ent-hole must be minimum 40 mm. Put the drain hose for approx. 80 mm in the wastewater pipe. (Fig. 9.5-2). 9.5.3 Drain hoseto sinkconnection The junction must lie above the siphon A spigot connection isusualy closedby apad(A). That must be removed to prevent any disfunction (Fig. 9.5-3). Secure the drain hose with a clamp. CAUTION! The drain hose shouldnot be submerged in water and shouldbe secu ly xed and leak-f ree. If the dra●inhose is placed on the ground or if the pipe is at a height of less than 80 cm, the washing machine will continuously drain while being lled (self-si- phoning). ● Drain hose is not to be extended.
