Power connector cable Description Power connector cable Spare part number 749647-001 Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41), and then remove the following components: ● Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 45) ● Top cover (see Top cover on page 53) ● Display (see Display assembly on page 77) To remove the power connector cable: 1. Position the computer upright. 2. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws (1) that secure the cable to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power connector cable (2) from the system board. 4. Release the power connector cable from the clips (3) built into the chassis. 5. Remove the power connector cable (4). Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable. Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1.

To remove the power connector cable:
1.
Position the computer upright.
2.
