Light pattern 5-2 Light description The Power light is on and the Resume light blinks. Explanation and recommended action The printer is out of paper. z Load paper and then press the (resume button). The printer is in manual duplex mode. It is waiting for the ink to dry so the pages can be flipped over and reloaded. z Reload the stack into the printer and press the (resume button). The printer is pausing for the ink to dry. z Wait for the ink to dry. The Resume light will stop blinking. The printer has printed a banner, and the banner needs to be removed from the printer. z Press the (resume button) to remove the banner from the printer. The Power light and Resume light blink. The Power light blinks and the Resume light is on. The auto-duplex unit is not installed. The printer cannot print without it installed. z Install the auto-duplex unit, and then press the (resume button). Print media is jammed in the printer. z Press the (resume button) to eject the jammed media. z Remove all media from the output tray. Open the top cover to locate the jam. After clearing the jam, press the (resume button) to continue the print job. One or more covers on the printer are open. z Close any open covers. z Make sure the auto-duplex unit is properly installed. The Power light blinks and the Printhead and Resume light are on. A printer error has occurred. z Turn the printer off and then on again. The printhead latch is not secured. z Open the printing supplies cover and secure the printhead latch. The Printhead light, a color indicator light, and the Resume light are on. One or more of the printheads needs attention. z Reinstall the printheads and try to print. z Try cleaning the printhead contacts. See "Cleaning the printhead contacts". z If the error persists, replace the printhead or printheads indicated. ENWW
