8. Remove the drive by pulling the release tab away from the drive (1) and sliding the drive out of the bay (2). 9. Remove the four mounting screws (two on each side) from the old drive. Disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet and disconnect any external devices. IMPORTANT: Regardless of the power-on state, voltage is always present on the system board as long as the system is plugged into an active AC outlet.
