For example, "2C 0002" means address line 1 (bit one set) has failed. "2E 1020" means data bits 12 and 5 (bits 12 and 5 set) have failed in the lower 16 bits. 2. A list of all POST (Power-On Self-Test) and error codes are available through
electronic files from the Support Center.
If you wish to view the POST details, press the
key when the Kayak logo is
being displayed at power on, and the checkpoint code of the test currently in
progress will appear in the upper right corner of the screen. When POST is
completed, the HP Summary Screen will appear.
