NOTE Follow the instructions in the FCArray Assistant Installation and User Guide to complete the following tasks. 2. Install both FC Array Assistant Server, then Client software. 3. Once the FCArray Assistant Server software is installed, the DACEVENT command must be modified to include the IP address or name of all the client systems used with the server if you want to be notified of controller events that FCArray Assistant monitors. This modification is not required but HP recommends that you make this change at this time. On the current cluster node that you are installing FCArray Assistant edit the DACSCM.CNF file (add IP addresses or names of clients used with the cluster) for the current cluster node that FCArray Assistant is. Verify FCArray Card Firmware Version 1. If not already done, start FCArray Assistant and double-click the desired DAC(s). 2. Logon as "fcarray." 3. Select the controller information button and verify the firmware version. Refer to the Configuration Guide for the correct version. 4. Perform one of the following: • If incorrect, install the Fibre Channel Cluster Software Disk you created earlier in part 1 "What's Needed" into the floppy drive, refer to the FCArray Assistant Installation and User Guide and upgrade the firmware using the Flash Utility. Remove the floppy disk and reboot the system. If correct, or after upgrading the firmware, return to part "5 NetServer Software Setup" of the Installation Guide and perform the "Install.
