Power Up the Components in the Rack
Follow the Power Up Sequence to minimize initial surge currents and prevent
breakers from tripping.
Power Up Sequence
1.
Ensure that the mass storage unit DIP switches are set for SCSI ID spin-
up order. See documentation included with the unit for more information.
2.
Power on the tape back-up unit, if one is present.
3.
Power on the mass storage units, one at a time.
4.
Power on the monitor.
