6 Output devices 60 3000-sheet stapler/stacker Paper handling features z up to 3000 sheets A4- or Letter-size paper z up to 1500 sheets of A3- or Ledger-size paper z jobs are offset and stapled, if desired Using the stapler The 3000-sheet stapler/stacker can staple documents consisting of a minimum of two pages, and a maximum of 50 pages of 75 g/m2 (20 lb) paper or equivalent 5.5 mm (.22 inches). The pages must be 64 to 199 g/m2 (17 to 53 lb) of all sizes supported by the product. Keep in mind these additional points: z The stapler bin can hold up to 3000 sheets. z Heavier media might have a stapling limit of fewer than 50 pages. z If the job you want stapled consists of only one sheet, or if it consists of more than 50 sheets, the product copies or prints the job to the bin. However it will not staple. Note Selecting the stapler You can usually select the stapler through your program or driver, although some options might be available only through the driver. See "STAPLING DOCUMENTS" on page 48. Where and how you make selections depends on your program or driver. Using the stapler
The 3000-sheet stapler/stacker can staple documents consisting of a minimum of two pages, and a maximum
