Chapter 5 Splined Shaft Skew Adjustment Splined Shaft Skew Adjustment If lines of print are not parallel with the perforations on the paper, perform the following adjustment. 1. Open the printer cover. 2. Loosen the screw (1) securing the adjusting link (2). 3. Adjust the link (2) by raising or lowering the horizontal adjustment knob (3) to obtain print parallel with paper perforations. Tighten the screw (1). 4.
