Installing Windows XP Installing Retail Windows XP (Omnibook XE4400) Installing video support (ATI) Windows XP does not contain the necessary drivers for the video hardware installed on your HP notebook. You must install the specific video driver as follows: 1. Run setup.exe from the video driver directory. 2. Click Next in the Driver Setup window and then Yes to accept the License Agreement. 3. Click Next to start copying files. 4. Click Finish to complete installation. If you have more drivers to install, select No to the message box asking if you wish to restart the notebook. Otherwise, select Yes to restart the computer. You can now adjust the display resolution to match the LCD. Right-click the desktop, select Properties, click Settings, then select the desired resolution. Installing video support (ATI)
Windows XP does not contain the necessary drivers for the video hardware installed on
your HP notebook. You must install the specific video driver as follows:
1.
Run setup.exe from the video driver directory.
2.
Click Next in the Driver Setup window and then Yes to accept the License
Agreement.
3.
Click Next to start copying files.
4.
Click Finish to complete installation.
If you have more drivers to install, select No to the message box asking if you wish to
restart the notebook.
Otherwise, select Yes to restart the computer.
You can now adjust the display resolution to match the LCD. Right-click the desktop,
select Properties, click Settings, then select the desired resolution.
Installing modem support (Conexant)
