Chapter 4 Load an oversized original To remove the lid 1. Lift the lid to the open position, grasp the sides of the lid, and then gently pull the lid upward until it stops. 2. lid upward until it stops.

Press the hinge releases until the lid separates from the rest of the HP All-in-One.

When you finish copying, scanning, or faxing, replace the list by inserting the tabs
on the hinge back into the appropriate slots.
You can copy, scan, or fax oversized originals by completely removing the lid from
your HP All-in-One. Your HP All-in-One functions normally with the lid removed.
Tip
When you copy oversized originals, place the lid over the original. This
improves the quality of the copy and reduces ink use.
