Using the camera with a Macintosh computer System requirements for a Macintosh computer To work with your camera, your Macintosh computer must meet or exceed the following requirements. For updated system requirements, go to www.hp.com/photosmart. Operating system Macintosh OS 8.6 or later Processor Power PC, 233 MHz Memory (RAM) 64 MB (128 MB recommended) OSX requires 128 MB Free hard disk space 150 MB Video display 800 by 600 pixels, 16-bit color CD-ROM Any speed Virtual memory Recommend setting to 96 MB to run Arcsoft software Changing the PC Connect Mode setting Before you can unload images from the camera to a Macintosh, you must change the connection setting in the Setup menu. 1 Turn on the camera. 2 Press the dial twice to open the main menu. 3 Turn the dial to scroll to the Setup icon. 4 Press the dial to open the Setup menu. 5 Turn the dial to scroll to PC Connect Mode, and then press the dial.
