Prepare the computer for disassembly. 2. Remove the Palmrest Assembly. 3. Remove the keyboard and heatspreader. 4. Remove the hard drive. 5. Remove the screw from the middle of the battery charger board. 6. Unplug the battery charger board from the connector on the system board, and lift it out of the chassis. To replace the battery charger board, reverse the previous steps. When replacing the battery charger board, ensure the pins are NOTE: aligned with the sockets on the system board connector before pressing the board in place.

To remove the
battery charger
board, complete
the following
steps:
1. Prepare the
computer for
disassembly
.
2. Remove the
Palmrest
Assembly
.
3. Remove the
keyboard and
heatspreader
.
4. Remove the
hard drive
.
5. Remove the
screw from the
middle of the
battery charger
board.
6.
Unplug the
battery charger
board from the
connector on
the system
board, and lift it
out of the
chassis.
To replace the
battery charger
board, reverse
the previous
steps.
NOTE:
When
replacing
the
battery
charger
board,
ensure
the pins
are
aligned
with the
sockets
on the
system
board
connector
before
pressing
the board
in place.
