Because of its small footprint and lower power consumption, the BladeSystem c3000 enclosure works well in smaller data centers, remote sites, or locations with power and cooling constraints. HP offers the c3000 in tower or rack versions (shown in Figure 2). A single c3000 enclosure is 6U high and can hold up to eight server, storage, or I/O option blades and up to four interconnect modules. 3
