Solution Check the Print Adapter icon in the System Tray. If it does not have a green checkmark, then the connection has been lost. 1 Right-click the Network Print Adapter icon in the System Tray. 2 Select Connect. If that does not work after a minute or so, then try exiting the Connection Manager and starting it again. 1. Right-click the Print Adapter icon in the System Tray. 2. Select Exit. 3. Go to Start --> All Programs --> HP USB Network Print Adapter-->Restart connection manager. Cause Printer software is very old or not completely installed. Solution 1. Verify that you can print using a USB cable. 2. Download the latest printer driver from www.hp.com/support and install all components. Troubleshooting

Solution

Check the Print Adapter icon in the System Tray. If it does not have a green checkmark, then the connection has been lost.

Right-click the Network Print Adapter icon in the System Tray.
