Note: Enter commands in lowercase only; mixed case is for readability. portCfgEXPort 2 Examples -p pidformat Specify the Port ID format. Valid values are 0-native, 1-core, 2-extended edge. This operand is applicable only when port mode is set to 0 (native mode). If port mode is not "Brocade Native", the Port ID format displays as "Not applicable". -t fabric_parameter Specify whether to enable or disable negotiation of the fabric parameters. Valid values are 1-enable, 2-disable. -m port mode Specify the Port mode. The -m option will enforce the same port mode for all the ports connected to the same edge fabric. If -m option is selected, the port mode will be compared against the online ports. If the modes are different, an error message will be posted, and the command will fail. Valid values are as follows: 0 Brocade Native mode. 1 Open McDATA Fabric 1.0 mode (and Brocade Interop mode). 2 McDATA Fabric mode, used when the neighboring McDATA switch is running OS version such as 6.0.2 or later. 3 McDATA Fabric Legacy mode, for legacy McDATA OS versions such as 5.0.2.
