2 Event messages This section contains descriptions of the event messages from the switch, Simple SAN Connection Manager, and QuickTools in message ID sequence by the following severity levels: • Alarm events, page 13 • Critical events, page 38 • Warning events, page 46 • Informative events, page 49 NOTE: You can look for a message by its message ID or by searching for the message text. If the message you are looking up does not appear in this section, contact your authorized maintenance provider. Alarm events Alarm events require action before you can proceed any further. Table 4 shows the icon for alarm events and the Event ID number and message displayed, and provides a description of the meaning of the message and recommended action to take.
