spanning-tree hello-time 9 spanning-tree hello-time Configures the hello-time in seconds on the interface. Synopsis spanning-tree hello-time seconds no spanning-tree hello-time Operands seconds Sets the interval between the hello Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDUs) sent by the root switch configuration messages. The range of valid values 1-10. Defaults The default is 2 seconds. Command Interface configuration mode Modes Description Use this command to set the interval time between the BPDUs sent by the root switch.
