Troubleshooting 4. Supported USB Devices: Verify that the USB device is supported for remote connection. Not all USB devices are supported by the current version of HP Remote Graphics Software. 5. USB Device Drivers and Program Support: Verify that the device drivers and programs required by the device are installed and available on the Sender system. Many USB devices require manufacturer-supplied software to work on a system. This software must often be installed before the USB device is connected to the system. 6. Check USB cable Connections: Verify that the USB device is physically connected to the Receiver system. Check to see that it has power and is turned on. Some devices may require that the user initiate an action before it connects. For example, Palm PDA devices require starting a HotSync operation for the device to connect and appear on the remote Sender system. To further verify your connections, recognized devices on the Receiver system appear in the Proc file system under the /proc/devices/usb_remote 127
