Bluetooth (not available on all models) Your HP iPAQ comes with built-in Bluetooth, a short-range wireless communications technology. Devices with Bluetooth capabilities can exchange information over a distance of about 10 meters (30 feet) without requiring a physical connection. You can use Bluetooth to: • Beam information, such as files, appointments, tasks, and contact cards, between devices that have Bluetooth capabilities. • Create a connection between your HP iPAQ and a Bluetooth phone to use the phone as a modem. • Use a Bluetooth service. Once you connect to another device or computer using Bluetooth, you can locate and use any of the services available on that device. NOTE: Use of dial-up and wireless Internet, e-mail, corporate networks, and other wireless communications, such as Bluetooth-enabled devices, might require separately purchased additional hardware and other compatible equipment, in addition to a standard Wi-Fi infrastructure and a separately purchased service contract. Check with your service provider for availability and coverage in your area. Not all Web content may be available. Some Web content might require installation of additional software. 86
