Removal and Replace Procedures Removing and Replacing Hotswap DC Power Supplies Figure 2-3 Installing a Power Supply NOTE If the system has a one piece bezel, perform step 5. If the system has a two piece bezel, perform step 6. Step 5. Close the one piece front Bezel. Step 6. Install the two piece front Bezel. 1. Swing the Disk Media access door open so that the plastic pins that go into the metal clips on the Disk Media bay are exposed. CAUTION The plastic pins holding the bezel on the right side are inserted into metal clips on the Disk Media bay. DO NOT bend the plastic pins or they will break off. 2. Holding the bezel with both hands, align the bezel pins with the metal clips on the Disk Media bay and carefully slide the bezel pins into the clips. 3. Attach the left side of the bezel to the server chassis by aligning the bezel pins with the chassis clips and press the bezel into the chassis until the pins snap into the clips. The illustration below shows the front bezel with locations of bezel pins and chassis clips. 4. Swing the Disk Media access door closed and attach to the right side of the server chassis. 5. Secure the bezel by wrapping the bezel strap around the bezel to prevent the bezel doors from opening. Make sure the bezel strap pull tab is visible. 34 Chapter 2
