Timers Timers Select TIMERS to set your Clock, Sleep Timer, and Day/Night Timer. 1. Use the CURSOR buttons ̆ or ̄ to highlight the function to be adjusted. 2. Press the SELECT button to select. Use the CURSOR button ̄ to highlight the chosen TIME ZONE settings. Use CURSOR buttons ̇ or ̈ to set TIME ZONE and press SELECT to set. Timers Set The Clock Set Sleep Timer Set Day/Night Timer Move SEL Set -- : -- AM PST 0:00 Not Set 2. Press CURSOR button ̄ to select Date. Use CURSOR buttons ̇, ̈, ̆ or ̄ to set Month, Day and Year. Press SELECT to set. Timers 3. Press CURSOR button ̄ to select Time. Use CURSOR buttons ̇, ̈, ̆ or ̄ to set Hour, Minute, AM or PM. Press SELECT to set. Set The Clock OR Time Zone : PST Date : Jan. 1 2005 Time : -- : -- AM ❑ Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes. 4. If you observe Daylight Saving Time, press Move SEL Return CURSOR button ̄ to select DAYLIGHT SAVING CHANGE and press SELECT to set. 5. Press EXIT to quit the menu or select SET THE CLOCK to return to the previous menu. NOTE: 1. When AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST CLOCK FOR DAYLIGHT SAVING CHANGES is checked ■✔, the TV will automatically calculate the clock adjustment for Daylight Saving. 2. When the CableCARD is used, the TV will SET THE CLOCK automatically. 3. The TV counts electrical pulses for regulating the TIMERS. When the power cord is unplugged then plugged in quickly, the clock is stopped momentarily and the TIME indication will become slow. 4. Time and Date is automatically set by the TV Guide On Screen system. These settings cannot be changed manually. On-Screen Display 78
