HOW TO CLEAN AND CARE CAUTION: Before cleaning the unit, turn power off and unplug unit from the outlet. CLEANING THE TRANSDUCER/ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE The transducer/ultrasonic membrane must be cleaned to remove water mineral deposits when the clean transducer/ultrasonic membrane button illuminates red. Failure to do so may cause reduced or no mist output. 1. Remove the tank cover and set aside. 2. Remove the tank and pour out any water remaining in the tank. 3. Over a sink, twist as indicated to remove the water reservoir from the bottom of the tank and pour out any remaining water. 4. Reattach the water reservoir. 5. Fill tank with 13oz./385mL of water. 6. Swish the water around the tank in all directions. 7. Pour out any water remaining in the tank. Over a sink, twist to remove the water reservoir and pour out any remaining water. 8. Clean the transducer/ultrasonic membrane with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water on a cotton swab. Wipe off with a damp cotton swab. CAUTION: NEVER touch the transducer/ ultrasonic membrane with your fingers; the natural oils in the skin can damage the surface. NEVER submerge the base in water or any other liquid. 9. After cleaning, reassemble the humidifier, fill with water, plug in, and turn on. 9 10. After filling the tank with water, press the clean transducer/ ultrasonic membrane button until the clean indicator turns off.

CLEANING THE TRANSDUCER/ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE
The transducer/ultrasonic membrane must be cleaned to remove water mineral deposits when

1. Remove the tank
cover and set
aside.
2. Remove the tank and
pour out any water
remaining in the tank.
3. Over a sink, twist as
indicated to remove the
water reservoir from the

pour out any remaining

4. Reattach the water

5. Fill tank with

water.
6. Swish the water
around the tank in
