HOW TO CLEAN 4. HOW TO CLEAN Dry hands and plug cleaner into a properly grounded outlet. Do not clean over floor electrical outlets. Wash / Auto Rinse Use for normal floor cleaning 1. Press power button. 2. Press appropriate surface selector button. "Carpet" for carpeting. "Rug" for throw rugs, area rugs or delicate carpet. 3. Turn cleaning mode selector dial to "Wash/Auto Rinse". 4. You are now ready to clean your carpet. wall-to-wall 5. Release handle by stepping on "Handle Release Pedal". 6. See Figure 4.1 for reference. A. Pull and hold solution trigger (Fig. 4.2) while pushing machine straight forward. This is the wash cycle. B. Continue to depress solution trigger and pull cleaner towards you. This is the rinse cycle. C. Release solution trigger and push forward. This is the first dry cycle. D. Pull towards you, this is the 2nd dry cycle. Steps A through D should be performed in approximately 24 seconds for best results. This speed is much slower than dry vacuum cleaning. For best cleaning and drying it is very important to perform steps A through D in one path before moving to the next section. Move over the width of the machine and repeat steps A through D. Wash / Auto Rinse
Use for normal floor cleaning
1. Press power button.
2. Press appropriate surface selector button. “Carpet” for wall-to-wall
carpeting. “Rug” for throw rugs, area rugs or delicate carpet.
3. Turn cleaning mode selector dial to “Wash/Auto Rinse”.
4. You are now ready to clean your carpet.
5. Release handle by stepping on “Handle Release Pedal”.
6. See Figure 4.1 for reference.
